Highlights include Khatchaturian's Sabre Dance and Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances. Antoinette Peloso, a prima ballerina who has danced with the Metropolitan Opera Company, makes a guest appearance. We always encourage our students to go out dancing so they can apply in real life what they learn in our classes. Sometimes the environment of a salsa club is intimidating for them when they see advanced or professional dancers on the dance floor. This is your opportunity to practice and apply your moves in a real salsa setting with a clean environment and without intimidation. This party is intended for you and other students like you. Get to know your classmates and instructors, and hang out with them. We will start the party at 7:00 pm with a class on Salsa, Cha cha and/or Merengue, so you'll be able to dance to the most popular styles played in clubs. We will have continuous music playing until 11:30 pm. People not enrolled in our classes are welcome to attend the party as long as their admission is covered. Due to the space of the facility and city regulations about room capacity, number of people is limited, so please reserve your admission ASAP by calling Dorothy @ 626 236 3338 we hope to see you there and get to dance with you! |

the roll of Clara's father and captain soldier. Media City Ballet will once again present Tchaikovsky's classic tale, The Nutcracker. Due to last year's near sellout crowd, we've added an extra performance, but it is still best to buy your tickets now in order to get the best seats. Performances will be at 2 and 7 PM on both Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale.
